non-profit community publishing company/organization that has
been actively existing in Asheville, North Carolina (from New
York City) since 2002. Loved by the Buffalo attempts to
build bridges by crossing cultural and political/ideological
barriers by providing a venue for a healthy, dynamic, and
diverse exchange of ideas and views about an ever-changing local
and global community.
 As
of summer of 2006, Loved by the Buffalo publishes the
monthly “sibling magazines”—The Indie (community
“mouthpiece”, Wander (literary "open mag"), and Blue
Sky Asheville (spirituality, healing arts, healthy living).
The company also seeks to break in new work by new creative
writers, comics, and artists--as well as showcase work by
novelists, fictionists, essayists, poets.
