Spring - Summer - Fall (launched in 2004)
A multi-format, (mostly) culturally-diverse program of
easy-to-mount, budget-friendly art/musical/film shows and
other activities, and cultural presentations, including --
martial arts (tai chi/aikido), street theater, photo/art
exhibit, kids playgrounds/mural painting, belly dancing,
dancing from different cultures, jugglers-clowns, health
food flea market, crafts sales, lectures under the trees,
and accentuated by a nighttime rock concert and poetry
readings.
Traveling Bonfires’ Crafts & Things
Crafts, accessories, jewelry, exotic/tribal apparel,
artwork, and other products & merchandise.
Traveling Bonfires Independent Film Festival
An annual, nationwide (with foreign entries) independent
film festival, showcasing multicultural themes and global

Vagrant Wind Short Fiction and Poetry Competition
An open/free-form/free-theme creative writing contest for
High School and College students in the US and beyond. For

Third World Asheville
A women-supervised organization (but not
gender-exclusive). Focus of advocacy are socio-cultural
realities in third world societies/cultures.
Kids 'r Indies
A family-oriented children's playground/activity program
that primarily initiates, inspires parental time with the
family via light, freewheeling, fun projects.
Vagrant Wind Road Journeys & Bonfires Bookings
The Traveling Bonfires continually and consistently books
new unsigned acts, bands, poets, singer/songwriters, and
diverse performers in and around Asheville North Carolina
and up north--mostly downtown Manhattan, Baltimore, and
Washington DC--and other North Carolina towns and cities.
Occasionally we will also book road trips, mostly for
fundraising gigs and events.
